In August, the Columbia Dining culinary team participated in a three-day training intensive led by the Culinary Institute of America. This year's focus was on building foundational kitchen skills, exploring global flavors, and incorporating Beyond Meat plant-proteins into everyday menus.

New for the Fall 2023 semester, Columbia Dining has added a food truck to its wide range of on-campus lunch destinations.
Based on feedback from students, Columbia Dining was selected by the Princeton Review as one of the top 25 for Best Campus Food.
On August 9, Columbia Dining managers and Chefs prepared pantry packages and ingredients for hot meals at the New York Common Pantry.
